Church
13th Century Canon Clarke notes the nave is C13th, the tower base is c.1330, but it's belfry and nave roof are C17th. The chancel was rebuilt by Sir Robert Banastre 1626-8, repaired by Lord Viscount Charles Maynard 1772 and restored again 1957 by Lawrence H Bond but is described as a 'wonderfully complete C17th piece' Clarke thought the stalls looked medieval in style but Pevsner dates them to 1628 making them in keeping with the rest of the building
