A 10th C. stone building operated by the Roman church for centuries as a chapel of Chalton and presently as part of the Benefice of Blendworth with Chalton and Idsworth. The simple Nave was extended with the addition of a Chancel in the early medieval period and again in the 16thC probably as part of a program of repair. The church was derelict at the turn of the 20thC., restored in 1913 and rescued from ruin by the farming community in the 1970s.
