Clanfield which was originally a small farming community. It has grown over the years and is now a suburban/rural community mix of commuters and retirees with a lot of building development having taken place to the east of the village up to the A3. The church has flint walls with stone dressing outside and polychromatic brickwork inside. It is a small church consisting of an Aisleless Nave and Chancel, North Vestry, South Porch, Small cusped lanuts, three at the East end. The West end has a Coupled Window and Perpendicular Window (from the old church) flanked by massive Stepped Buttresses which support a prominent Belfry with coupled gables, bell openings with two bells and minor buttresses at the top. The interior is traditional Victorian but with polychromatic brickwork.
