Building is open for worship
Ground plan:
Nave, chancel and south-west tower.
Footprint of Church buildings: 154 m²
The walls, two doorways and two windows are 13th century. It has been altered without being enlarged, with the usual later windows inserted: in the 16th century a tower was built inside the church at the south-west and mild restoration was carried out in 1898 by J.T. Lawrence of Leighton Buzzard.
The walls are of ironstone with some Tottenhoe stone, patched with brick and tile; the nave has been given stock brick battlements.
The interior is plastered and whitened, and would be more pleasant if relieved of some of its seats. There are monuments on each side of the chancel arch, both 17th century, to members of the Duncombe family. The glass in the east window and the nave north window is by Westlake.
