All Saints church with its round tower dates back to 12th and 13th centuries faced in flint. The chancel and south porch were rebuilt in the 15th century and within the body of the church stands a 15th century font and to the left a famous monument to the Casteton Family dated 1727.

The church has a round tower, dating from 12th century, that was extended with octagonal belfry in 14th century. The chancel and south porch were rebuilt in the 15th century and the chancel thoroughly restored with the addittion of the north transept and north vestry in 1820-2. The windows are generally constructed of randum flintwork with limstone dressing and all roofs are covered in blue Staffordshire tiles with the expection of the tower roof that is covered in lead.
Internally the roofs are victorian and the nave has panelled ceiling with carved bosses. A roof loft staircase also remains in the north east corner of the nave and there is a 15th century piscina, with a cusped head in the chancel. The chancel arch to the north transcept have polchrome brick work, consisting of red, yellow and back bricks and the tower arch is sharply pointed and unarticulated. the font is 15th century and the gothic pulpit of 1861. On the north chancel wall is a fine monument to castleton and family of 1727.
