St John the Baptist, Tisbury is a Grade 1 Listed Building. It is described in the Listing Text as: “Anglican Parish Church. Late C12, C13, C14, C15, C16. Tower rebuilt 1762, mid C19 restoration. Dressed limestone, tiled roofs. Cruciform plan with aisles, south vestry. North and west porches” The chancel, renamed St Andrew's Chapel after the closure of a chapel of the same name in Newtown (west of Tisbury) in 1975.
