Built from Saxon foundations the church in the middle of the village stands out now with its Norman heritage. A cruciform shape with vast nave and chancel, two side chapels, and aisles constructed by William Butterfield for the chancel in the mid 1800s.

Good quality Victorian glass windows. Pulpit and Brass lectern given in 1908. Communion silver also gifted. Chancel pews of good quality and part of the Butterfield restoration in the 1860s. No valuable furniture or paintings. 6 Bells in the tower.
