The church was designed in the Perpendicular style in 1909 -1910, replacing an earlier "tin" mission church which was erected in the late 19th century. Although the original design included a tower, only the lower section of the stairs was completed. A new church hall was constructed in the early 1990s.

The church was designed by J B Bailey and Son of Keighley in the Perpendicular style in 1909 -1910, replacing an earlier "tin" mission church which was erected in the late 19th century.
Although the original design included a tower, only the lower section of the stairs was completed. A bell-cote and bell was added to the west gable in 1961. A new church hall, which is linked to the church through the south aisle was constructed in the early 1990s.
In 2016 the porch and the vestry were replaced and repairs done to the clerestory windows and other high level stonework.
The church comprises of a nave and north and south aisles with the north porch forming the base of a proposed tower and the chancel with organ chamber and vestry.
The interior has a 4 bay nave. The roof structure comprises of queen post roof trusses with arch braces to the nave, and a double hammer beam roof to the chancel. The walls are of coursed and dressed stone with ashlar dressings. The aisles and nave are stone flagged.
