The parish church of St Mary Magdalene, completed in 1888, is the third church building on the current site. It was preceded by two temporary buildings, which were built in 1870 and 1873 respectively. A parish hall, which adjoins the main church, was completed in 1907. To the rear of the church adjoining Wiseton Road is a smaller hall, the vestry hall, which was formerly the choir and clergy vestries. The church frontage is on Trinity Road, one of south-west London’s busiest thoroughfares. There is no churchyard. The church was built to the designs of E. B. Ferrey and is Grade II listed. The exterior of the church is built with orange brick with ashlar dressings and a plain tile roof. The west front of the church is dominated by three tall two-light pointed arch windows and a double arched and gabled bellcote. The interior of the church has five bay nave arcades with orange brick arches. There are Minton tile floors and carved wooden pews. The chancel arch retains a finely carved timber rood screen with ornate bronze gates. This was added in 1920 and acts as the parish memorial to World War 1. The high altar is raised on four marble steps and in situated in front of a triple canopied reredos. The church has a variety of late-Victorian and twentieth century stained glass. Some re-ordering work to the church was carried out in the late 1980s/early 1990s. This partitioned the north and side aisles, providing additional space. A platform was added in front of the rood screen to provide space for a nave altar.
