Grade ll* listed church dating from pre-medieval times with additions and alterations in the 12th, 13th, 18th, 19th and 20th centuries.
Building is open for worship
The Minster is open: Mon to Sat 9.00am - 3.00 pm. Service times are: Sunday - 10.30 am and 6.30 pm. Wednesday - Holy Communion: 12.00 noon Daily: Monday to Saturday - Morning Prayer 9.00am and Mid-day prayer 12.45pm. Facilities include toilets (accessible), baby change facilities, car parking (accessible), hearing induction loop, and large print books. There is bell ringing, an organ, and a regular choir. There is also a café and shop.

Built of local stone, the church is basically cruciform with Chancel, Nave, Transepts and tower. The ring of eight bells in the tower are relatively recent, dating to 1875.
Chancel, Choir, Lady Chapel and Vesteries converted into community use with Refectory and meeting rooms. Transepts house the Narthex and Heritage Centre. Worship restricted to Nave with tower based used as the sacristy.
