St Mary's Fordingbridge is the largest church within the Avon Valley Partnership. Greater part of the church is 13th century, following extensive re-building of Norman church. It is a Grade 1-listed building.

St Mary's church in Church Street, Fordingbridge is about five minutes walk from the town centre. The north door of the church is usually open from 9am - 5pm (or before dusk in winter), and on Sundays from 7 30am until before dusk or after evensong on the third and fourth Sundays. No access to a toilet but public conveniences available in town centre car park. Parking can be in front of the lych gate, within the glebe field behind the adjacent Rectory (ground conditions and weather permitting) or via parking for the disabled area at the south-east corner of the church.
