St Michael and All Angels is set on the outskirts of the small village of Stoke Prior and is surrounded by a large churchyard which is heavily populated with headstones. The church is statutorily Listed Grade I and the lychgate is separately listed Grade II. The church dates from the 12th century but only the tower and nave survive from that building.
