The walls are of local rubble, with dressings of a harder but similar stone. The east window is of two ogee trefoiled lights, with a quatrefoil above, and no main external arch. The north wall is a single lancet, old outside but restored internally. In the south wall is a similar but wider lancet which is also modern on the inside.
The nave has its west wall plastered externally; in the north wall are two modern two-light windows of 13th century design and, in the south wall, three modern windows with a roll-moulded string-course below. The south doorway and south porch are modern but, between the south porch and the south-east buttress, is an old stone bench. (There is a similar stone bench at neighbouring Craswall church). In the west wall is a tall modern lancet and the gable supports a modern tell-cote with arched openings for the two bells.
The chancel arch is modern. The roof of the chancel is the braced collar—beam type. The nave roof is modern, but retains three old tie beams.
