Chancel
19th Century From Christians report - Chancel rebuilt in 1843-4 by the late Mr. Terry (or Ferrey?). Canon Clarke calls it a 'Tractarian' chancel. The stained glass has been moved about a lot.

17th Century Gallery first built 1635 across the chancel arch, but was moved to the West in 1824 when the posts were carved. Pevsner finds this hard to believe, but it is so: the carpenter’s bill in 1824 was £185: 11: 0 – for moving gallery to the west, making supporting pillars (and erecting a Gothic screen between church and chancel - this was removed in 1845).
