The church has a fine array of gargoyles and grotesques, with lifelike caricatures of real-life models. The angel roof carvings are contemporary with the construction of the roofs, which are mainly original and exceptionally good in all their details. Also contained within the building are a 14th century bell, 16th century bell and 18th century bell, making a set of three which is a feature of churches along this part of the Lincolnshire coast; 15th century woodcarvings on the pulpit and screen; a 15th century octagonal font; and a 15th century main door. The woodwork of the church is of much interest. An exceptional feature of the old rood screen is the beautifully carved eight western buttresses, which project about a foot. In the tie beam of the nave roof in front of the screen are the pulley holes for raising and lowering the great light or lights of the rood, which probably took the form of a rowel or circle. The survival of these pulleys is exceedingly rare. There are some good examples of medieval stained glass.
