Ground plan:
Nave, chancel, west tower, south aisle, south porch.
The west tower is massive, unbuttressed, and chiefly Norman; the upper, belfry, storey is Decorated and ashlar- faced - in contrast to the fine stone rubble of the remainder of the church. Seen from the north the church is rather severe, with only a single clerestorey window and small lancet in the chancel to relieve the plain wall surfaces; the south is much more varied, having two Perpendicular clerestorey windows and the variety of outline afforded by the south aisle and porch. The south window of the chancel has Y tracery; the east window is plain, square headed and presumably 17th century.
