Crays Pond: St Berin
Overview
Grid reference: SU 637 804
Originally orientated South/North on plot approx 5m x 30m with porch on north end. Bell tower on roof at porch end, 4 windows on each side of main body of building, small extension at rear. Site is surrounded by post & rail fencing. Building is a 'Tin Tabernacle' made of corrugated iron panels. In the early 1980’s the building was vandalised, set on fire and burnt to the ground. Today (2016), the plot is overgrown with only a few rusty corrugated iron sheets and charred wooden stumps to indicate any earlier use of the area.
