This remote church at the most southern point of the county is beguilingly set at the end of a long tree lined lane which is well indicated by a brown sign off the main Northampton / Milton Keynes road. It stands adjacent to a remarkable 15th century dovecote all beautifully preserved by the Churches Conservation Trust. The 13th century chancel is the oldest part of the building with the nave and tower being re built by Edward Furtho circa 1620. Also from the period is the octagonal font and some of the windows. Since the early 1990’s sensitive repairs were made leaving a building redolent in its history.
