The church is designated at Grade II as a good example of a late C18 church retaining elements of its original medieval fabric. The 1784 restoration has produced a structure that is both simple yet architecturally imposing in stature. The high canted ceiling is of stucco panelling. The windows, also dating from 1784, contribute to the lightness of the interior with their lozenge-shaped panes, many brightly coloured. The pitch pine pews have simple fleur-de-lis ends. There is a wood-panelled gallery at the west end with tiered pews. In the re-ordering of 2009, the chancel has been opened up to create a light and useful area.
Building is open for worship
Footprint of Church buildings: 180 m²
The curvilinear shape of the churchyard suggest a Celtic foundation. There is other evidence for earlier churches on the site including a Roman stone figure, a medieval gravestone and other old stones and lintels incorporated in the walls.
