Built of local stone and roofed with Welsh slate. The church is "L" shaped, the large south transept or chantry forming the short arm of the "L". Nave and chancel are of equal height and the roofline over them is unbroken. The fenestration is irregular, and most of the tracery of the nave windows clearly dates from the 19th century restoration; however, the main window of the south transept has tracery of unusual design, and the two-light window on the south side of the chancel has plate tracery dating from the late 13th century.

Ground plan:

The interior is plain and narrow; the walls limewashed. The general air of restraint is enhanced by the three-light east window in the Early English style. Both nave and chancel have a Victorian panelled and plastered ceiling with the ribs picked out in black. The dividing chancel arch has incised mouldings in the Perpendicular style with cusped heads. At the west end of the nave a tall arch with an attached column gives access to the ringing chamber of the tower. The chamber is separated from the body of the church by an openwork screen and is flanked by two ogee-headed boards with the Ten Commandments painted thereon. In the south wall of the nave, between the entrance door and the south transept is a tomb recess with cusped tracery in the head.

Pulpit
Of pine, hexagonal.
Pew (object)
The pews and poppy-headed choir stalls may both date from the 19th century restoration.
Piscina (object)
