The building material is rubble and Ketton stone ashlar with dressings of Ketton and Barnack stone. The chancel was refaced, presumably in 1874, and a new window with reticulated tracery inserted. In the north wall are two windows both of c.1330 and of two trefoiled lights with a quatrefoil in a two-centred head with a moulded label and mask stops. In the south wall are two windows both similar to those in the north wall but with carved stops to the label, while the splays of the easternmost have been cut down to form a seat below the sill.
Building is closed for worship
Ground plan:
Chancel, nave with south aisle and south porch. The small west tower stands partly within the nave.
The south doorway shows some traces of 12th Century work but the bulk of the church was built in the 14th century. The west tower was added at the end of the 14th century. The church was restored in'1874 by A.Blomfield, and the tower in 1899.

The exterior of the chancel; like that of the nave, is plain, with a diagonal buttress at each corners and a plain parapet with a low-pitched roof. In the north wall of:the nave are two 14th century windows, the first of three trefoiled ogee lights with tracery in a square head and the second of three trefoiled lights with blind tracery in a square head with moulded reveals and label with beast-head stops. There is a clerestory on both sides consisting of four 14th century windows of two trefoiled ogee lights. Below those in the north wall is an external string-course.
The south aisle has in the east wall an early 14th century window of three uncusped lights with intersecting tracery. In the south wall are two 14th century windows, each of three ogee lights with blind tracery in a square head; the easternmost has mask-stops to the label and the westernmost has head-stops. The south doorway between them is built up of re-used 12th and 13th century work. In the west wall of the south aisle is a 19th century lancet. The west tower is of late 14th century date of two stages with a moulded plinth and an embattled parapet with carved gargoyles at the angles of the moulded string below. It is surmounted by an octagonal stone spire with two ranges of four lucarnes on the cardinal faces. The tower stands half within the nave of the church and has a tall tower arch of one chamfered order on the western side and three orders on the east, the two inner being plain chamfered and springing off the side walls and the outer being hollow chamfered and continuous.
The nave has a south arcade of four bays of early 14th century arches with two-centred arches, octagonal piers and moulded capitals and bases. The late mediaeval roof of the nave is of oak with arch - braced camber beams and wall posts. The feet of the wall posts are supported on pleasantly carved corbels, most of which are original. The aisle has a lean-to roof of similar date and character. The chancel arch is Victorian, apart from-the responds which have semi-octagonal shafts with mostly later capitals and bases.
