Built in 1870 to designs of George Watson of Penrith. Refined and stylish, with simple use of familiar features e.g. contemporary open benches, battered polygonal apse, light hammerbeam roof to nave, chancel arch marked by celure supported on refined shafts, corbelled eaves, coloured panelled traditional font, etc.
