A small church, attractively situated and attractive in itself. The chancel is of mellow red brick, early 18th century, and the remainder of the church seemingly rebuilt by the Diocesan architect, T.H.Hyatt, in c.1857. Nave and porch tower are mainly of roughly dressed blocks of stone, the latter with a pleasantly picturesque pyramidal tiled roof.
Building is closed for worship
The church's origins are in the early 18th century, but it was substantially rebuilt by Diocesan architect T H Wyatt in 1857.

Nave and porch tower are mainly of roughly dressed blocks of stone, the latter with a pleasantly picturesque pyramidal tiled roof. Incorporated in the fabric are a number of broken Sarsen stones, taken from Avebury, and the three stone stepped lan cets of the east window appear to be 13th century work re used. The nave has a pointed window to the west and square headed windows to north and south which may, also, incorporate older work. The roof coverings of nave and chancel are of stone slates.
