Ground plan:
Nave and chancel only.
The walls are of random marble with roughly inserted stone dressings and the oak framed roof is clad with tiles. The south wall of the nave is pierced by a Norman doorway with chevron moulding carried around the jambs and arch. This wall is composed of much Norman masonry and the ground plan is surely of this date. East of the door, which is the only lawful means of access to the chapel, lies a late decorated two-light square-headed window with ogee heads to the lights, which is matched by a similar 14th century window in the chancel. At the east end are two large 13th century buttresses and a three-light square-headed window with the date 1577, which indicates the repair of the chancel at that time. The fenestration of the north side is again 14th century but the two-light square-headed window of the chancel is later, i.e. probably Tudor, and the small pointed window now has a brick head which could loll belong to the 1577 renovation. The two-light nave window is unaltered. The west wall contains two square-framed openings, over which is a rectangular opening for bells. At the east end, the gable is crowned with an apex pinnacle which was probably transported from elsewhere. The chancel is slightly lower than the nave.

The chapel is floored with stone slabs. The west gallery is 18th century, but the front has fallen away to reveal high-backed benches. The altar rails are modern but their deal simplicity co-exists happily with the remaining woodwork. The square framed windows have fairly deep reveals. At the west end of the north wall, is the remnant of a corbel table, in the form of a small stone head. Below this is a small cross-patee in relief which is part of a coffin lid. There is also a fragment of a shaft. There is a flat plaster ceiling.
