Ground plan:
Nave , south aisle, chancel , west tower and south porch.
The nave is structurally Norman, the rest mostly late 13th to early 14th century. The porch is 15th century.
The south aisle has a splendid five light east window, with reticulated tracery, a frieze of ball- flower and other motifs; on either side of the east window are ornate niches, which differ in their details. The chancel is also Dec. with a three-light east window.
Stained Glass
A considerable amount of 14th century glass survives in the chancel and south aisle, including the upper halves of figures and canopies.
An outstanding feature is the thatched roof, with internal plaited rushwork; indeed it is a treasure-house of the traditional crafts - carving in stone and wood, glass, metalwork, ceramics.
