The chancel was built in 1844 in the neo-Norman style but the chancel arch is 12th century and some of the rubble masonry of the side walls of the nave may also be of the same period. The nave has two north and two south windows: the eastern pair are late 14th century but the western ones probably date from 1884 when the nave walls were partly rebuilt and the church generally restored.

The nave has two north and two south windows: the eastern pair are late 14th century but the western ones probably date from 1884 when the nave walls were partly rebuilt and the church generally restored. The west window of two lights with a trefoil head is probably of late 13th century origin much restored in the 19th century: the 19th century east wheel window has six robust colonnettes.
At the south-east and north-east external.angles of the chancel are neo-Norman nook columns.

Fragments of 15th century foliated stained glass in the heads of the two principal lights and also in the top-light of the north-east window of the nave.

The roof of the chancel dates from 1884 as does that of the nave, though some of the old beams may have been re-used in the nave. The early 16th century oak doorin the north wall has moulded ribs dividing it into three panels, with the remains of trefoiled ogee heads with rose cusp-points and tracery. The south door dates from c.1600 with applied moulded ribs dividing it into five panels. Pew height oak panelling was inserted in 1935: the rest of the walls are plastered and whitened.
