A low, and rather insignificant building, built of local stone and roofed with grey slate. It is built in a simple version of the Lancet style, and the exterior is now much darkened. The windows of the aisles are lancets, arranged in pairs, and these alternate with buttresses. The windows in the clerestorey above are single truncated lancets. The tower is short and battlemented and has clasping buttresses; the small spire hardly tops the ridge of the nave roof.

Interior
Interior Description
The interior is plain and limewashed. The nave arcade consists of five bays of equilateral arches on octagonal columns. The roof is a simple couple roof of timber. A tall and steeply pointed chancel arch on attached octagonal shafts gives access to the chancel, which is lit by two single lancets on each side, and a group of three lancets in the east wall. The roof here is a steeply pitched and simplified version of the braced collar pattern.

Of stone and octagonal; each face is separated by shafts with foliated heads, and each intervening panel has an ogee-headed canopy.
