The nave is both tall and wide, with a steeply pitched roof covered by Welsh slates: the chancel roof covering is also of slates and, at the east end of the nave roof-ridge, there is a lead-covered bellcote surmounted by a fleche. The nave windows are of simple form — two lights, divided by a mullion, with tre-foiled heads and a quatrefoil in the head.

Ground plan:
Chancel, nave with balcony on three sides, north chancel vestry with organ chamber on the south; south-west entrance porch and vestibule (not used) at west end of church.

Stained Glass
East window contemporary with church. It is a memoriald to Lt.Col. Adam Stewart Gladstone 1864 (relative of William.Gladstone).

Interior Description
The internal walls are plastered and painted white (as is also the boarding of the roof) and, although the nave is aisleless, there are galleries on the north, south and west sides supported on cast iron.
