It is a large building of red brick with stone dressings. The baptistery is a curious arrangement, in the form of a three-sided apse. Built to designs by J.S. Alder, 1899-1900.

It is a large building of red brick with stone dressings. The baptistery is a curious arrangement, in the form of a three-sided apse.

Interior Description
The baptistery is a curious arrangement, in the form of a three-sided apse, separated from the nave by a three-arched screen forming a processional way; above it is a large five-light west window with tracefied head. The nave arcade, with clerestorey above, is of brick with octagonal stone piers. The bell-cote, which abuts the south-west corner of the nave, is surmountedby a stone saddle-back roof from which rises a diminutive stone flèche; there is one bell. Two vestries open from the north choir aisle, which contains the organ; the south chapel has been partitioned off for use.
