Until the beginning of the 19th century the church was a small stone building, chiefly of the 12th century, with a round-headed south doorway. A restoration took place c.1812 and, in 1872, the church seems to have been completely rebuilt - in flint and stone rubble, with freestone dressings.

Ground plan:
Nave, with western bell-cote, north aisle, and chancel. There is no external division between nave and chancel.
Description of Archaeology and History

Exterior Description
It is a small building. The roof coverings are of pretty Victorian tiles and there is a wooden south porch.

The interior is plastered; there is a modern chancel arch and a north arcade of two bays divides the nave from the north aisle.
