The church is built of brick, covered with cement rendering, and roofed with Westmorland slates. The walls are all covered with cement rendering, and the windows in them are cut like holes in card, two in the south wall with Y tracery, one in the west wall of the same pattern, and a three-light window in the east wall. The slates of the roof become smaller towards the ridge, and the bell-con has spaces for two bells.
