Ground Plan Description and Dimensions
Ground plan:
nave , with north and south aisles , chancel ; organ-chamber, clergy and choir vestries on south side of chancel; cote with two bells.
Exterior Description
Built of local wallstone, with ashlar dressings to window and door surrounds; roof coverings of slate. Steeply pitched nave and chancel roofs, with slightly shallower pitched roofs to the north and south aisles.
The window tracery is in a fairly free interpretation of the Decorated style, the east and west windows having quite good tracery of this kind; there are two curious round-headed openings, under a single hood-mould, in the west gable of the church - presumably to ventilate the roof space and the clerestorey consists of quatrefoils set in stone roundels on the north and south sides.

Interior
Interior Description
The interior of the church is in good decorative order, the walls whitened and forming a pleasing contrast to the darkened timbers of the nave and chancel roofs; the nave roof is of arched brace tie-beam construction and the chancel roof has double curved braces of an attractive pattern, the ceilings boarded and whitened. The chancel is somewhat narrower than the nave, and divided from it by an arch.
