Unusually there is no dedication to this little church. It is built of red sandstone although the South walls are roughcast. The plain arched windows make it appear Georgian but there is medieval fabric in the walls; including part of an Anglo-Saxon cross-shaft used as a quoin and against the West wall a monument to John Ponsonby of 1670. A later John Ponsonby (1866-1952) of Haile Hall is commemorated in a fine stained glass window of St George and the Dragon by Powell of Whitefriars; There are also windows by Wailes and Strang and Heaton, Butler and Bayne. The interior space is full of light and has some fine fittings including a carved oak screen to the chancel.
