The church has a strong feeling of friendly antiquity, with its recognisable Norman plan, its Norman and 16th century arches and its early font. It also contains a wealth of interesting period artefacts including a Medieval lead cross, a Medieval Knights grave cover and a 17th century hour glass for timing sermons. However, its external appearance dates mainly from its 1874 extension and restoration. It is a place of great peacefulness, richness and re-assurance.
