The present church is a re-build of 1794. Either the existing Nave windows are a very early example of Gothic Revival style or they are later insertions. The church comprises Nave and Sanctuary with an unusual form of five centred chancel arch. The entrance lobby is of buff coloured sandstone with Tudor arched entrance door. There is a small single bell-cote above the west end gable. Roofs are of slate laid in random and diminishing courses. Walls have been rough cast rendered of relatively recent date obscuring the character of original stonework. Internally wall surfaces are plane plastered. The roof is supported on collar tie trusses with iron tie rods. Trusses and purlins are exposed.
