All Souls is a large church comprising Nave, north and south Aisles and Chancel and without a bell tower or spire. Externally walls are entirely of red sandstone under slated roofs. Although no information was available regarding the date or origin of this church, internally, the use of bands of yellow/buff and red brickwork used with red sandstone columns, capitals and responds reflects very closely the use of materials at Christ Church, Silloth by Cory & Ferguson, 1870. Also similar to Christ Church Silloth is the use of capitals and responds where elements normally embellished with free form carving have been left un-carved but coarsely shaped with the point tool.
