Designed by Hugall of Cheltenham and erected in 1857 the church comprises Nave, Chancel, Porch and Vestry both on the south side. Masonry is of red sandstone with roughly squared coursed and random coursed hammer dressed walling stone and tooled quoins, window surrounds, mouldings, copings etc.. There is a very tall clock tower with belfry and high stone steeple.
