The church consists of a nave and chancel, north chancel chapel, south porch and a western belfry.

The walls are partly of ragstone and flint and partly of red brick; the dressings are limestone, the roof is tiled. The belfry, rebuilt in 1842, is timber. The brick nave and chancel are early 16th century. The east window has three lights with Perpendicular panel tracery. In 1621 the north chapel was added and in 1834 it was rebuilt. It has a two bay arcade with a thick short octagonal pier and round arches. The south porch is 16th century.
