The chapel is divided from the church by a three-bay arcade of moulded arches carried on pillars with semi-polygonal shafts in the cardinal directions and round shafts between. The east and west walls have blind windows in the Perpendicular style with four transomed lights which probably date from 1881. The nave is Norman in origin but the west tower and most of the nave windows are now Perpendicular, as is the east window of the chancel. The north chapel was added in 1881 to balance that on the south.
Building is open for worship
Ground plan:
The church consists of a west tower, aisleless nave and chancel with three-bay north and south chapels. The chapel under consideration is on the south side of the chancel and is a plain rectangle in plan.
Dimensions:
(of the chapel ) 38ft . by 18ft.
Footprint of Church buildings: 397 m²
The nave is Norman in origin but the west tower and most of the nave windows are now Perpendicular, as is the east window of the chancel. The north chapel was added in 1881 to balance that on the south. The Bourchier Chapel was probably added in the fifteenth century, since there is a mediaeval piscina in the south-east corner. The east and west windows (both blind) clearly date from Joseph Clarke's restoration of the church (and addition of the corresponding north chapel ) in 1881.
The east and west walls have blind windows in the Perpendicular style with four transomed lights which probably date from 1881. The south wall has a buttress at each end and another at roughly the midpoint and each of the two bays thus formed has a broad window, probably seventeenth- century originally but now Normanised with nook- shafts and zig- zag round the arch.
Stained Glass
1621
Two large south windows in the chapel. Subjects are The Kiss of Judas, The Nativity, Pilate washes his hands, The Crucifixion, Ressurection and Ascension. They were originally made for the first Baron Maynard's private chapel in Easton Lodge in 1621, but moved here in 1857.

The chapel is divided from the church by a three-bay arcade of moulded arches carried on pillars with semi-polygonal shafts in the cardinal directions and round shafts between. The roof also appears to be entirely nineteenth- century and is a waggon roof without plaster but with closely- set arched braces to each couple of rafters. The floor is paved with stone flags and lies two steps above the level of the chancel. The walls are plastered and painted white.
