Church
16th Century All in brick, laid in English bond. Date said to be 1516 with bequests to the rood light and chancel made in 1547 possibly prove that it was pre-Reformation. However, Canon Clarke disagrees - stating there was a church before this one and that there are no signs of a rood-loft. Although he agreed 'such utilitarian building' was probably done at so early a date he attributed it to 'the reign of Elizabeth'.
