The Lady Chapel was added in the early 20th century. The church building consists of a nave and chancel, with north and south aisles and transepts. The south transept has been converted to parish rooms (with an inserted first-floor structure) and the north transept is used as a chapel. The church has a north porch and the vestry is situated at the base of the west tower. The church is constructed of local, limestone ashlar, with natural slate roof coverings (modern, concrete tiles on the inner slopes), coped gables and clay ridge tiles.
Some items of significance including octagonal font which dates back to 13C. There is a Jacoban pulpit and oak lectern and some fine stained glass windows. The chancel is barrel-roofed with gilded ceiling bosses and there are numerous memorial tablets. There is a full archive of all the contents contained in a register compiled by NADFAS (now renamed the Arts Society).
