St Giles Parish Church, Killamarsh dates back to the 12th century with alterations in the 14th and 15th centuries. In the late 19th century the Vestry and North Aisle were added by J M Brooks, and the Chancel and the Porch were rebuilt. In the south side of the Churchyard there is an early Christian Saxon cross and the village stocks.

St Giles Parish Church, Killamarsh dates back to the 12th century with alterations in the 14th and 15th centuries. In the late 19th century the Vestry and North Aisle were added by J M Brooks, and the Chancel and the Porch were rebuilt.
There is a large ashlar sandstone Tower, believed to date back to the 15th Century, with six bells. The south door is 12th century with fine chevron carving.
On the outside face of the south wall of the building there is a memorial to John Wright, a pauper, who died in 1797 at the age of 103.

There is a Nave of coursed coal-measures sandstone, a Chancel of more evenly coursed sandstone with additions in 1895 in magnesian limestone.
There are some 15th century stained-glass fragments in the restored south window in the Chancel (the ‘Sancta Maria’ window showing the Virgin Mary with long golden hair holding the Baby Jesus; a distinctive feature of the window is the depiction of the face, hands and feet of the Baby Jesus as those of an old man, representing wisdom), other fine 19th century stained-glass windows to the South of the Nave and to the west end of the North Aisle.
