Description of Archaeology and History
A Victorian church consisting of a square nave, with north and south aisles, south-west porch, western baptistery with gallery, apsidal chancel, vestries to the north and tower at east end of south aisle. It was built of red brick with stone dressings, tile roof coverings. In 1970 this was demolished and the new church constructed.
