Chest Tomb
19th Century Chest tomb in limestone. The tomb is plain sided with a soffit-chamfered flat lid. The lid bears an inscription commemorating Thomas Melhuish, died 1836, and his brother John, died 1839.

19th Century Chest tomb in Portland stone ashlar. The tomb is rectangular in plan and stands on a chamfered plinth with a hollow-moulded base and has a low pitched lid. On each corner of the tomb are clasping pilasters with recessed panels. The south side of the tomb has an inscription commemorating John Cross Pitt, died 1831. The east side inscription commemorates John Pitt, died 1836, and Thomas Pitt, died 1811. The lid has memorials to other members of the Pitt family from the later 19th Century.
