Apart from the bellcote and the simple Decorated window tracery, there is little to distinguish the church from the other buildings in the hamlet. Entrance to the churchyard is at the west, through a low tiled lych-gate, and the graves and gravestones crowd tightly round the church. The external facing is of limestone. The west window is of two trefoiled lights with a quatrefoil in the head; the east window is austere, with three main lights. In the north wall of the nave are two windows and in the south one, all three of the same pattern. The roof coverings are of tiles, and all the roofs dip gracefully as they reach the eaves.
