Restoration by William Butterfield. The nave and chancel were reroofed - the sanctuary has apanelled ceiling with trefoil cusping on the ribs. The North nave wall taken down and pushed out a few feet, with the doorway replaced - a piece is left towards the East, reduced in height, and splayed towards the altar of the aisle. The roof is supported on one post on top of this wall and by wooden posts on stone bases. Recorded by Paul Thompson as 1861-3 and costing £850.
