All Saints' Church is located in a sloping rectangular churchyard used as a cemetery on the the north side of the A458 (Welshpool - Shrewsbury) road. It was built in 1871 to designs of architect E.M.Goodwin of Carmarthen. It is constructed of pale rubble stone with pinkish ashlar window dressings. It consists of nave, bellcote, twin-gabled south porch, chancel with lean-to projection of south transept, and lancet windows. The south door is of seventeenth-century date and comes from Alberbury, Shropshire, of which Middletown was a township. Woodcarvings tell the story of the Ugg of Hell.
