Archaeology
Possible original south wall of nave and base of jamb found under south arcade in excavation in 1982. These features found under two limestone floor surfaces. Jamb suggested to have originally been a cross base (this stone is now in the grounds of the church hall- it is a square block, roughly tooled on three sides with a socket in the centre).
Tower late 14th or 15th century , possibly on earlier plinth. Tower plinth possibly built after advowson given to Halesowen Abbey 1229. Possibly stones from crypt are from earlier church. Rest of church rebuilt 1867.
