A church built in 1870-1 by F & H Francis. It consists of a five-bay nave with north and south aisles; a deep chancel terminates in a three-sided apse with, to the north, a small chapel and, to the south, a large organ chamber. There is a tower at the south-west corner. The principal material is grey stock brick, with some stone dressings.

The church was built, 1870-1, by Messrs. F..ll. Francis.
A five-bay nave with north and south aisles; a deep chancel termines in a three-sided apse with, to the north, a small chapel and, to the south, a large organ chamber. There is a tower at the south-west corner. The principal material is grey stock brick, with some stone dressings. The tower is rectangular to the level of the nave roof and then chamfers sharply on all faces to terminate in an octagonal stone belfry capped with a stone spirelet.
Inside the building is lined with yellow stocks and occasional red banding. The interior has a stone arcade, the capitals carved with coarse but luxuriant foliage; the roof corbels are carved with female heads.
