History
Possibly originally built as a temporary church for the monks of Merevale.
Archaeology
Archaeological observation in 1998 of trench for foul drain recorded stone footings, including a plinth, below the floor in the south west corner of vestry which may belong to the original 13th cent south aisle. The plinth was in line with the inner edge of the west wall of the nave.
